Spring Cleaning Your Brand

There’s no better time to think about change than in the spring, when the world is literally exploding with new possibilities.  Just like millions of people everyday, I’m in the process of reinventing or what I like to call reinvesting in myself and helping others do the same. Just like the time honored tradition of spring cleaning, this is the perfect season to spruce up, reevaluate, hone, eliminate and reveal a fresh new picture of ourselves to the world.

As a passionate brand evangelist, buzz marketing and social media strategist, I want to encourage you to join me.  Let’s take some time this spring to think about who we are, at our core and then find the best possible words, images, sounds and actions to spread that message to the widest possible audience.

I’m also a writer, an author, a publishing executive and a wife and mother and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

I’m excited about the journey ahead and I hope you’ll take it with me.

This is a great post. People tend to err on the side of the familiar (we all do it to some degree) and then get discouraged when nothing in their life changes. Taking control of the reins of your life and choosing the direction of your new adventure (each new day) is the only way to get to where your dreams will take you.

That is a life lesson we often need to remind ourselves of when we are stuck in a rut or feeling discouraged by a lack of progress in any certain area of life. There is no rule that says we must live each and every day without hope or desire for change. Once you give yourself permission to take a chance; and, put your efforts into realizing a goal without letting negativity stop you; you begin to realize that there are no limits to where you can go and no limits to what you can accomplish… that you have not imposed upon yourself! http://www.writeasrain.wordpress.com

Beautifully and inspirationally said. Thank you. This has been a year of change for me and the wonderful part has been that in the very moment that I stopped being afraid of the change, transformation galloped in and swept me along. Sometimes I even remember to throw back my head and laugh out loud at the pure joy of the ride.
